Organizational Development
Hey guys. We’re up to 609 registered users. That is an obscene friggin’ number, so good job.
Here’s a tip though, something I’ve noticed from perusing the site is that a lot of you don’t have custom titles for your blogs. If you’re interested in having something other than “Just another UMWBlogs.org Weblog” show up underneath your blog’s title, you can click on the “Options” tab in your administration panel. Pretty cool.
So, forums have been updated, despite a severe lack of posting. There is now a forum for each academic department, although I rolled a few of them together where I thought it was prudent. Psychology and business, for example, have their own forum.
At the beginning of the day, I was losing hope for the forums, until I did a little personal research of my own which led me to a model of community development called the Bass Diffusion Model, which has the ability to forecast community growth speeds which vary depending upon the size thereof. Growth is going to be slow. I was kind of hoping for more than like, 10 posts though.
Oh well.
